When growing up, Richlands local, Cali Yore, always had a dream of opening a coffee shop in her hometown; somewhere with a  welcoming atmosphere to enjoy working, reading, meeting, conversing, as well as building relationships and community. She wanted somewhere where kids could hang out after school and do their homework, somewhere where creatives can sit for hours and work on their laptops, and somewhere where seniors can meet for coffee and company.

After graduating from Richlands High School, Cali had a successful career in the real estate field. She met her husband, Kelly, who moved to the Richlands area to work in the ministry, and within a year they were married. Fast forward many years, they have a son, Leo, and two dogs, Toby and Bean, (both of which are featured on oil paintings in the coffee shop).

After years of dreaming, Cali left the real estate field, and together they put all of their time, money, and efforts into opening the Richlands Coffee Company. And in August of 2020, right in the middle of COVID, they opened.  Immediately, it was obvious that Richlands would rally behind them and their vision. Richlands always has been, and will continue to be small business centered. From the moment they opened, their shop was full.

The Richlands Coffee Company is a destination craft coffee experience. Whether you are young or old, there’s a table for you at The Coffee Co.
